Shippers' Council’s first meeting for 2024-25 term held

The first meeting of the Board of Directors of Shippers’ Council of Bangladesh (SCB) for 2024-25 term held on Tuesday in its Dhanmondi office’s conference room under the Chairmanship of Md Rezaul Karim.

At the first meeting of the newly elected Board of Directors adopted SCB's annual action plan and approved the minutes of the previous meeting, accounts statement and nominated the signatories for the SCB Bank Accounts, read a press release.

The meeting also approved enhanced salary of SCB employees and took discussion for purchasing space of SCB.

Senior Vice Chairman Md Ariful Ahsan, Vice Chairman Ganesh Chandra Saha and Directors- AKM Aminul Mannan (Khokon), Arzu Rahman Bhuiyan, Syed Md. Bakhtiar,  Ziaul Islam, Ataur Rahman Khan, KM Arifuzzaman and Lokapriya Barua also attended the meeting.
