Chain Super Shop Shwapno has organised iftar for people stuck in traffic during iftar time in several locations across the capital and also in Chattogram, Sylhet, and Cumilla Sadar on Tuesday and Wednesday.
Due to clogged traffic on major city roads, many people remain stuck in vehicles and fail to make it home on time for iftar. Attempting to alleviate their sufferings to some extent, Shwapno has arranged to distribute iftar among people stuck in traffic from 5:00pm on Wednesday, said a press release.
"This is a small effort from Shwapno for the people who could not return home timely due to traffic jams and other factors," the release added.
Shwapno also carried out a similar distribution on Tuesday, where a group of young men dressed in red T-shirts and red caps were seen distributing the iftar from Shwapno.
