American Chamber of Commerce in Bangladesh (AmCham) has re-elected Expeditors (Bangladesh) Ltd Country Manager and Managing Director Syed Ershad Ahmed as the president for the tenure of 2023-25.
Besides, Chevron Bangladesh President Eric M Walker has been elected as the vice president of the chamber while NATco Bangladesh Ltd Country Manager and Managing Director Al-Mamun M Rashel as the treasurer.
Chairperson of the AmCham Election Board for AmCham Executive Committee 2023-25 and AmCham former president Aftab Ul Islam, declared the results of the election at the 27th the Annual General Meeting (AGM) held in the capital’s Sheraton Hotel on Monday.
Syed Ershad Ahmed presided over the meeting.
Other office bearers are — Augmedix BD Ltd Managing Director Abu Muhammad Rashed Mujib Noman, Country Managing Director- Bangladesh, Nepal, Bhutan, Oracle Bangladesh Ltd Rubaba Dowla, Business Leader – Bangladesh, Becton Dickinson India Pvt Ltd Mirza Shajib Raihan.
