Tauhida Khanam Tasmin, assistant director of Public Relations Office of Dhaka University, has secured the first position in the national essay competition on “Bangabandhu’s Economic Development Thoughts”.
The Directorate of Public Libraries under the Ministry of Cultural Affairs organised the competition on the occasion of the 47th Death Anniversary of the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and National Mourning Day-2022, said a press release on Thursday.
State Minister for Public Administration Mr Farhad Hossain, MP distributed prizes among the winners as chief guest on Wednesday, at a function held at Hotel InterContinental Dhaka.
Secretary of the Ministry of Cultural Affairs Md Abul Mansur and Secretary of the Ministry of Civil Aviation and Tourism Md Mokammel Hossain were present on the occasion as special guests.
Tauhida Khanam Tasmin is the youngest daughter of Md Ashraf Ali Khan, former Director of the Public Relations Office of Dhaka University.
