Team Group, an apparel export group of Bangladesh has won Bangladesh Innovation Award 2022 being the 1st apparel and fashion entity in the history of the award.
The awards giving ceremony of the 4th edition of the Bangladesh Innovation Award was held at a city hotel on Sunday.
Team Group has won the award for its innovative 4IR smart factory solution ‘Niddle’.
The software and IOT application ‘Niddle’ developed internally by the own IT team of Team Group has been implemented in the jackets factory of Group 4A Yarn Dyeing Ltd from July 2020. It has significantly increased the efficiency of the factory and contributed to the welfare of its skilled workers.
Team Group Managing Director Abdullah Hil Rakib said, “Digitalisation is now the key to taking the apparel factories of Bangladesh forward. Compared to the current market, this Niddle helped us to achieve at least 10-12 per cent more efficiency.”
Private Industry and Investment Adviser to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina Salman Fazlur Rahman graced the occasion as the chief guest while State Minister for ICT Zunaid Ahmed Palak, and Dhaka North City Corporation Mayor Atiqul Islam were present.
