UCB to finance online small entrepreneurs through Delivery Tiger

United Commercial Bank (UCB) will provide working capital to the online small entrepreneurs with a view to expanding their businesses and e-commerce logistics company Delivery Tiger will act as a platform in this regard.

The bank and the logistics platform have inked an agreement recently over the matter, a press release said.

Arif Quadri, managing director and CEO of UCB, and Fahim Mashroor, managing director of Delivery Tiger, signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organisations.

More than 20,000 entrepreneurs registered with Delivery Tiger will be benefitted through the initiative.

UCB Additional Managing Director Nabil Mustafizur Rahman, deputy managing directors Md Abdullah Al Mamoon, Mohammed Khorshed Alam and ATM Tahmiduzzaman, Head of SME Banking Mohsinur Rahman, while Delivery Tiger Technical Director Rony Mondal and Head of Finance Mosaddek Kamal were present on the occasion.
