A delegation of UL Solutions, a leading safety science company, met with BGMEA President Faruque Hassan on Monday to discuss possible collaboration in providing safety solutions and services to garment factories in Bangladesh.
The delegation from UL Solutions was led by Senior Director of Regional Operations Charan Singh, Country Manager of UL Bangladesh Golam Sarwar, Business Development Manager of Emerging Markets Sharif Mollah and UL Bangladesh’s Head of Business Rashed Ahmed, read a press release.
The meeting was held at BGMEA Complex in Dhaka’s Uttara.
The discussion focused on how UL Solutions can support the factories in maintaining compliance with regulations and standards and reducing the environmental impacts of their operations.
UL Solutions delivers testing, inspection and certification services, together with software products and advisory offerings that support product innovation, and business growth.
BGMEA Director Neela Hosna Ara was also present at the meeting.
