Union Bank and MedRabbits Healthcare, an Indian home healthcare sector, signed a Corporate Agreement at the Union Bank head office at Gulshan-1 in Dhaka on Sunday.

Under this agreement, the employees of Union Bank and cardholders will enjoy up to 50 per cent discount on healthcare services from MedRabbits Healthcare, according to a press release.

Union Bank Deputy Managing Directors Shafiuddin Ahmed and Md Jahangir Alam; Head of Corporate Affairs and Branding Division Shahriar Rauf; and MedRabbits Healthcare Managing Director Amol R Deshmukh signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organisations.

Besides, high officials of both organisations were present at the agreement signing ceremony.

Union Bank PLC was incorporated in Bangladesh on March 7, 2013, as a banking company under the Companies Act 1994. The bank is one of the interest-free Shariah-based banks in the country and its modus operandi are substantially different from other conventional banks.

MedRabbits was established in Pune, India in 2019 to provide customers with an integrated healthcare experience in the comfort of their homes with the intelligent use of technology, IoT and a robust medical support team. The company expanded its service in Bangladesh in June last year.
