Pubali Bank Limited has signed an agreement with Bangladesh Bank (BB) for the disbursement of loans under the Tk 5,000 crore refinancing scheme aimed at ensuring the food security of the country.
On behalf of their respective organisations, Pubali Bank Limited Managing Director (current charge) Mohammad Ali and the central bank's Director (Agriculture Credit Department) Md Abul Kalam Azad signed the agreement.
Bangladesh Bank Governor Abdur Rouf Talukder and Deputy Governor AKM Sajedur Rahman Khan were present during the signing, read a press release issued Sunday.
General Manager (credit division) of Pubali Bank Limited Mohammad Monjurul Islam Mojumder and senior officials of Bangladesh Bank’s agriculture credit department were present, among others, at the signing ceremony.
