Air Astra has decided to operate five daily flights on the Dhaka-Chattogram-Dhaka route from October 1 next in response to passenger demand.
Since the commencement of its commercial operations, Air Astra has been providing daily flights to Chattogram and has gradually increased the frequency, said an airlines press release on Wednesday.
Starting from October 1, the flight schedule for the Dhaka- Chattogram route will include departures from Dhaka at 07:45 am, 10:15 am, 2:15 pm, 04:30 pm, and 07:55 pm, while departures from Chattogram will be at 09:10 am, 11:40 am, 3:40 pm, 05:55 pm, and 09:20 pm, said the release.
In addition to the Chattogram route, Air Astra operates four daily flights to Cox's Bazar from Dhaka and three flights to Saidpur.
As the youngest airline in Bangladesh to achieve IATA Operational Safety Audit (IOSA) certification, Air Astra currently boasts a fleet of four ATR 72-600 turboprop aircraft.
