Thai Airways International, the flag carrier of Thailand, on Monday announced the launching of their “Double Daily” flights on the Dhaka-Bangkok route from July 16 till the end of summer schedule.
With the addition of twice-daily flights, it will take the total number of flights to 14 per week on this route, thus, now air travellers can take advantage of evening flights from Dhaka to the Thai capital.
This was revealed in an event of Thai Agent Networking at a local hotel in the capital, read a press release.
The airline is celebrating the double daily flights during the summer holiday season by offering special discounts under the “Happy July” promotion for return journeys from Dhaka to popular destinations in Asia, North Asia, Europe and Australia.
Thai Airways will operate Bangkok-Dhaka flights at 12:10pm (local time), while Dhaka-Bangkok flight will depart at 1:35pm operated with Boeing 787 Dreamliner or Boeing 772 consisting of 30 business class and 262 economy class seats.
While exploring nightly flights, the Bangkok-Dhaka flight arrives at 1:25am (local time), while the Dhaka-Bangkok flight departs at 2:45am operated with Airbus A320-200 narrow-body aircraft with 168 economy class seats.
Recently, Thai Airways International was voted eighth place for World’s Best Airline Cabin Crew and ninth place for Best Airline Staff in Asia at the Skytrax 2023 World Airline Awards.
