Turkish Airlines Inc, the national flag carrier of Turkiye and one of the world's leading airlines, is pleased to announce the appointment of Islam Gure as the new General Manager for its Dhaka operations, effective September 1, 2024.

Gure, who has been a dedicated member of the Turkish Airlines family for the past 10 years, brings a wealth of experience to his new role. His most recent position was Regional Sales Manager in St. Petersburg, Russia. As General Manager in Dhaka, Gure will oversee all operations, focusing on strengthening Turkish Airlines' presence in Bangladesh and ensuring the highest standards of service for passengers travelling between Bangladesh and the airline's global network.
Gure is accompanied in Dhaka by his wife and their two children. Turkish Airlines warmly welcomes them to the Dhaka community and looks forward to their contributions to the success of the airline’s operations in the region.
