Bangladesh received the first instalment of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) loan on Thursday.
“We received $476.17 million as the first installation of the IMF loan today,” Bangladesh Bank Executive Director and Spokesperson Md Mezbaul Haque told the Business Post, adding that the forex reserve increased to $32.69 billion due to the IMF loans.
