The Association of Bankers, Bangladesh (ABB) and the Bangladesh Foreign Exchange Dealers’ Association (BAFEDA) will work together for setting a uniform exchange rate for exchange houses.
Bangladesh Bank Executive Director and Spokesperson Serajul Islam, while briefing the journalist regarding the outcome of the meeting, said that the authorised dealers’ banks will have to comply with the rate.

"It has been decided in the meeting that the exporters will have to sell their export bills to their export earning bank including discounting," said Islam .
Bangladesh Bank Governor Fazle Kabir presided over the meeting while the leaders of ABB and BAFEDA were also present.
