Banks to operate from 9:30am to 4pm during Ramadan

Bangladesh Bank has set bank operating hours from 9.30am to 4pm during the holy month of Ramadan.

The central bank issued a notification in this regard on Tuesday and sent it to the top executives of banks for necessary action.

The transaction hours will be from 9.30am to 2.30pm during Ramadan, the notification stated.

The bankers will enjoy weekly holidays on Friday and Saturday.
