Islami Bank Bangladesh and bkash jointly have jointly launched an instant add money service for the customers of Islami Bank.

Customers can avail of the service using the ‘Transfer Money’ option of the Islami Bank’s ‘CellFin’ app, said a press release on Wednesday.

After receiving the money to the bKash account, customers can do almost all day-to-day financial transactions including sending money, cashing out, utility bill payment, merchant payment and mobile recharge through bKash wallet.

To transfer funds, at first, customers need to register to the Islami Bank’s mobile app ‘CellFin’. After log in to the CellFin app, they need to click the ‘Transfer Fund’ option. In the next step, customers have to select ‘bKash’ and enter the account number, source account and amount.

In the last step, users need to enter the CellFin app PIN number and tap to ‘Confirm’ button to complete the transaction.

Upon successful transaction, the customer will get an SMS notification. For the money transfer, Bangladesh Bank provided limit will be applicable.

Managing Director and Islami Bank Bangladesh CEO Mohammed Monirul Moula said, “….Our CellFin App has opened up a new horizon of alternative banking for the customers. …In future, we will be continuing to expand our services to more new technologies and platforms.”

This joint service of bKash and Islami Bank will further accelerate financial inclusion, and make transactions easier, time and cost-saving for all….”

Managing Director and Islami Bank Bangladesh CEO of Mohammed Monirul Moula, bKash CEO Kamal Quadir and other senior officials of both the organizations were present at the event.
