The Bangladesh Bank (BB) will be unveiling its Monetary Policy Statement (MPS) for the fiscal year 2022-23 on Thursday.
The Monetary Policy Department of the BB has completed the entire task related to formulation of monetary policy and going to unveil it at 3:00pm on Thursday.

The central bank decided to arrange a press conference on the day centering the announcement of MPS for the upcoming fiscal year.
The press conference will be presided by BB Governor Fazle Kabir, whose tenure as the governor will end on July 3.
Attaining the gross domestic product (GDP) growth target set by the government and taming the soaring inflation were the main focus of the new monetary policy, said BB officials.
