The Bangladesh Investment Development Authority (BIDA) has introduced two more services to its One-Stop Service (OSS) portal.
Executive member Mohsina Yasmin chaired the launching event of the new services on the BIDA premises in the capital's Agargaon on Wednesday.
The BIDA system integration included the issuance of Dhaka North City Corporation trade license and opening online bank accounts on Sonali Bank Ltd.
While delivering the chairperson's speech at the event, Mohsina Yasmin said investors can now avail themselves of more public services from their homes.
"58 investment-related services are now available on the BIDA OSS service portal from 19 agencies," she said.
Sonali Bank Ltd Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director Md. Ataur Rahman Prodhan, DNCC Chief Revenue Officer Abdul Hamid Mia, Ministry of Finance's Department of Financial Institutions Deputy Secretary Md. Mamun Mia, Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce and Industry Deputy Chief M Abdur Rahman, and Business Automation Ltd Managing Director Zahidul Hasan also spoke at the event.
BIDA Deputy Director Syeda Sadia Nuria hosted the event, while BIDA executive member Avijit Chowdhury gave a welcoming speech. BIDA Director Jeevan Krishna Saha Roy gave a presentation on the updates and future plans regarding the BIDA OSS.
At the launching event, BIDA executive members, directors, officials from other departments were also present.
