The country’s apex investment-promotion agency, Bangladesh Investment Development Authority (BIDA), will integrate a total of 150 services on its One-Stop Service (OSS) platform by March to make it investment-friendly and a single point of entry for all investment institutions.
“Currently, BIDA is providing 112 investment services. Out of the services, BIDA is providing 97 services of 29 departments (all services) and 15 services of eight departments (partial services),” said BIDA Executive Chairman Lokman Hossain Mia at a meeting at BIDA conference room in the city, said a press release on Wednesday, reports BSS.
Lokman Hossain Mia instructed the service providers to include the remaining 20 services of eight departments and 31 investment services of another 12 other departments to the BIDA OSS platform by March 31, 2024.
The organisations will provide nine types of services online for the investors through the virtual OSS of the BIDA, he added.
