Public servants to get 5% incentive: PM Hasina

The public servants will now get 5 per cent of their basic as special incentive.

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina while speaking on the proposed budget for 2023-24 in parliament on Sunday instructed Finance Minister AHM Mustafa Kamal to take action in this regard.

“I request the finance minister to consider paying 5 per cent of the basic salary as a special incentive to the government employees during this emergency. I hope the finance minister will accept this matter. We will give them 5 per cent of the basic salary as a special incentive.”

In her speech, the prime minister also highlighted the various steps taken by the government to control the inflation and developing the country’s economy.
