Tk 42,315 cr proposed for Defence Ministry

The government has allocated Tk 42,315 crore for the Ministry of Defence in the proposed budget for the fiscal year (FY) 2024-25.

The allocation is Tk 4,141 crore higher than the revised budget of Tk 38,174 crore of the previous FY 2023-24, reports BSS.

The government proposed allocation of Tk 46 crore for the Armed Forces Division for the FY 2024-25 which was Tk 36 crore in the revised budget of FY 2023-24.
