Bangladesh’s export earnings in April declined by 16.52 per cent to $3.96 billion compared to the same period last year.
In April, 2022, the country earned $4.74 billion, according to the latest Export Promotion Bureau (EPB) provisional data.
However, Bangladesh was able to retain its export growth in the first ten months of FY23. During the period, the country earned $45.68 billion, and posted a 5.38 per cent year-on-year growth. Of the figure, the apparel sector earned $38.58 billion – a 9.09 per cent year-on-year growth.
