Bangladesh earned $55.56 billion in exports in the just concluded FY23, witnessing 6.67 per cent higher earnings than the previous fiscal year.
In June, the last month of FY23, export earnings stood at $5.03 billion with a 2.51 per cent year-on-year growth, show the Export Promotion Bureau (EPB) data released on Monday.
However, exporters could not maintain double-digit export growth in FY23 compared to the previous year, as per the data. In FY22, export earnings reached $52.08 billion, which was 34 per cent higher than in FY21.
The country's RMG sector earned $46.99 billion in FY23 which is 10.27 per cent higher than the previous FY.
