FBCCI-led delegation leaves Dhaka to join Dubai Expo

A high-level business delegation led by the apex trade body FBCCI left Dhaka for Dubai on Monday as the entourage members of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina to attend Expo 2020 along with several other trade and business events.

Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FBCCI) President Md Jashim Uddin led the delegation.

During the visit, the FBCCI and the Dubai International Chamber will sign a memorandum of understanding at the Leadership Pavilion of the expo venue on Tuesday.

Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and her UAE counterpart Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum will be present at the signing ceremony.

Prior to that, the delegation will attend the International Women's Day celebrations event there.

The UAE-Bangladesh Economic Forum will be held on Thursday morning. Later in the afternoon, the UAE-Bangladesh Joint Business Council will be inaugurated.
