Bangladesh's foreign exchange reserves will fall below $32 billion as import bills to the Asian Clearing Union (ACU) worth $1.05 billion is scheduled to be paid on March 6.
The central bank will clear the import bills to ACU for the months of January and February, said a Bangladesh Bank senior official.
He said that after the payment, the reserves may stands at $31 billion.
The ACU is an arrangement to settle payments for intra-regional transactions among member countries including Bangladesh.
