Gold prices drop by Tk2,274.48 per bhori

Jewellers in the country have reduced gold prices by Tk 2,274.48 per bhori (11.664gm).

Bangladesh Jewellers’ Association (BAJUS) announced the latest price drop in all types of gold prices on Wednesday, said a press release issued by the association.

According to the new rates stated on the release, 22-carat gold will be sold at Tk 82,056.24 per bhori which was previously Tk 84,330.72, 21-carat gold at Tk 78,323.76 per bhori which was Tk 80,481.6, and 18-carat gold will be sold at Tk 67,126.32 per bhori which was Tk 68,992.56 in the local market.

Besides, the traditional method gold will be sold at Tk 55,287.36 per bhori, which was Tk 56,978.64 previously.

The revised prices will be effective from Thursday (August 18).
