The pigeon market at Dhaka’s Kaptanbazar, which sits every Friday from dawn to noon, is one of the largest in Bangladesh. Sellers put up various domestic and foreign breeds of pigeon for sale in the market. Many buyers come from outside Dhaka to purchase these household pets.
