HM Hakim Ali, the Father of Tourism in Bangladesh, received the 1st TOAB International Tourism Award 2024 in the category of The Pioneer of Tour Operating in Bangladesh.
Civil Aviation and Tourism Minister Muhammad Faruk Khan handed over the award at a ceremony organised at the Hotel Sheraton Dhaka.
TOAB International Tourism Award (TITA) honored 20 individuals and organizations in various categories for their significant contribution to various sectors of tourism. The award was given by the Tour Operators Association of Bangladesh (TOAB).
TOAB is the leading trade organisation of the country’s tourism industry, in a grand ceremony held at Hotel Sheraton Dhaka in the capital.
Special awards were also given to the TOAB founding members and individuals for their contributions to the establishment and development of TOAB.
