Walton is set to become the first Bangladeshi company to be featured in an episode of the National Geographic channel’s ‘SUPERFACTORIES’ series.

The 44-minute-long documentary will feature the Walton factory in Gazipur on Saturday, showcasing Walton's journey and operations behind becoming the top brand in Bangladesh, according to a press release.

'SUPERFACTORIES: Walton' will unveil the story behind the successful application of modern engineering, functioning and innovation that goes behind the making of Walton’s iconic product line.

It will focus on Walton's dreams and plans to turn an agricultural country into a centre of electronics and technology products, branding the 'Made in Bangladesh' tagline.

The viewers will also get an overview of various steps and activities taken by Walton to ensure a conducive environment for future generations.

“Walton is representing Bangladesh in the global arena in the fields of engineering and technological advancement. In this documentary, we wanted to share our success story with the audience at home and abroad,” Walton's Chief Marketing Officer Mohammad Firoj Alam said.

Mentioning that the SUPERFACTORIES series was created to give viewers a deeper understanding of high-tech factories and expand their knowledge, National Geographic India authorities said with the latest edition, they aim to showcase the compelling journey of Walton Group, highlighting their innovative approach to adapt to the evolving technology and the needs of consumers that have helped them to make significant strides within the consumer electronics industry.

The episode 'SUPERFACTORIES: Walton' will premiere in both SD and HD format on the National Geographic Channel on February 26 at 8:30pm, Bangladesh time. It will be rebroadcast at 10:30am on 6 March, 13 Match, 27 Match, 2 April and 3 April, and also 8:30pm on 12 March and 19 March.
