Inflation eased slightly to 9.74 per cent in June compared to May, shows the monthly inflation report published by the Bangladesh Bureau of Statistics on Monday.
The inflation rate was 9.94 per cent in May, which was the highest in the last 11 years.
Due to the Russia-Ukraine war and USD crisis, various countries including Bangladesh, have been facing high inflationary pressure.
