The National Board of Revenue (NBR) on Tuesday inaugurated the tax service month in a bid to facilitate taxpayers' return submission for the 2022-23 tax year.

NBR Chairman Abu Hena Md Rahmatul Muneem inaugurated the programme at the conference room of NBR on Tuesday morning.

Mentioning that NBR declared the month of November 'Tax service month' in 2020, the NBR chairman said that all the tax zones have been set up to receive income tax returns of their respective taxpayers in a festive environment.

The last day for submitting tax returns under the Tax Service Month is 30 November, which is observed as Tax Day by the NBR. Taxpayers will also be able to submit tax returns online.
