The Bangladesh Bank has eased the requirement to receive 2.5 per cent cash incentive against remittances over Tk 5 lakh.
The central bank, in a circular issued on Monday, said remitters from now on need not to provide any documents to avail the incentive.
Earlier, they required submitting the documents.

The new decision, effective from Monday, will remain in force until further notice, the circular added.
The government encourages increased flow of remittance through legal format as demand for foreign currency has gone up due to meet import payments.
