Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has instructed the concerned ministries to buy crude oil from Russia amid fuel crisis in the country.
Quoting prime minister, Planning Minister MA Mannan told reporters at a press conference after the Executive Committee of the National Economic Council (ECNEC) meeting held at NEC conference room on Tuesday.
“The prime minister has said that if India can buy (fuel from Russia), why can't we?” he said.

“Prime minister asked the authorities concerned to find a way to import crude oil from Russia,” Mannan said.
