The five-day REHAB Fair-2022 will start on December 21 at the Bangabandhu International Conference Center (BICC) in Dhaka.
The schedule was fixed at a board meeting of the Real Estate and Housing Association of Bangladesh (REHAB) on Monday.
Chaired by REHAB President Alamgir Shamsul Alamin (Kajal), Senior Vice-President Enthekhabul Hamid, vice-presidents Kamal Mahmud, Mohd Shohel Rana, and Md Abdul Kauiam Chowdhury, among others, were present at the meeting.
Commerce Minister Tipu Munshi and Rajdhani Unnayan Kartripakkha (RAJUK) Chairman Md Anisur Rahman Miah, among others, will be invited to the inaugural ceremony.
Realtors, building material suppliers and financial institutions will take part in the country’s largest real estate fair to showcase their projects and products.
Kamal Mahmud said they organise such a fair to create a bridge between realtors and buyers. Customers can find out apartments and plots within their affordability by visiting the fair.
Earlier, flats worth Tk 198 crore, plots of Tk 125 crore and commercial space of Tk 78.38 crore were sold and booked at the REHAB Fair-2021.
Around 200 stalls were set up at the fair and over 19,000 people visited the event last year.
