The five-day REHAB Fair 2022, organised by the Real Estate and Housing Association of Bangladesh (REHAB), will come to a close on Sunday.

This event began on December 21 to showcase real estate and housing products to the city dwellers at the Bangabandhu International Conference Center (BICC) in Dhaka. Due to security reasons, the fair will end at 2pm, instead of 9pm, read a REHAB press release on Saturday.

Several participating companies showcased their products through digital media at the fair. Expats from abroad also inquired about such products. This year, many buyers are looking for flats in Mirpur and Uttara due to their proximity to the metro rail.

Many real estate firms are offering various discounts to attract buyers to the fair, such as sending customers to perform Hajj and Umrah, and Tk 10 lakh discount for each product booking.

A total of 180 stalls were set up at this fair. Of them, three are diamond pavilions, seven belong to gold sponsors, 22 are by co-sponsors, 16 are from building material firms, and 13 are from financial institutions.

REHAB will hold a press conference at 2pm on Sunday in the fair premises to discuss matters regarding the housing sector, the stance of REHAB on the Detailed Area Plan (DAP), the fair's trade performance, and expectations for the coming days.
