ThinkBig Solutions Ltd has got licence from the Bangladesh Bank to operate local factoring on pilot basis.
The central bank on Tuesday awarded the licence to the entity.
Before granting the licence, the central bank issued guidelines for local factoring or receivable financing for micro, small and medium enterprises.
A high official of the Bangladesh Bank said that micro and small enterprises can get instant financing from banks along with other financial institutions through the digital platform.
He said that the guidelines have been issued to make it easier for small borrowers to get loans.
