Dhaka University (DU) authorities on Monday permanently expelled 12 students after several allegations, including digital fraud and admission, were proven against them.
Besides, 151 students were expelled in different terms for adopting unfair means in exams.
A press release regarding the matter was sent from the public relations department of the university on Monday.
The decision has been taken, based on the recommendation of university's Disciplinary Committee, during a syndicate meeting with DU VC Professor Akhtaruzzaman in chair at Senate Building yesterday, the release said.
