Education Secretary Md Mahbub Hossain said that the decision on reopening of educational institutions will be disclosed after August 25.
"We will state the date for reopening after getting clearance from the education ministry," Mahbub Hossain said.
He also added that the exam schedule of Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and Junior School Certificate (JSC) will be disclosed two weeks before they start.
"We have completed all the preparations. So, the exams will be held. But it would not be wise to spread a rumour about them."
"We still have not finalised the date of HSC and JSC exams. As thousands of students, guardians, and teachers are involved in the exam process, we have to think about their safety first," the education secretary said.
So far educational institutions are scheduled to be closed till August 31. The students and the parents are very skeptical and confused about the re-opening of educational institutions and the intake of exams this year.
