DU 'Science' and 'Fine Arts' units’ admission result published

The admission test results of "science unit" and 'fine arts unit' of Dhaka University (DU) under the 2022-23 academic session was published today.

"Some 9.43 per cent of admission seekers passed in 'science' unit admission test while 4.49 per cent of candidates secured minimum result in the Fine Arts unit," said DU vice-chancellor (VC) Professor Md Akhtaruzzaman while unveiling the result at the university's Abdul Matin Chowdhury virtual classroom this afternoon.

In the Science unit, a total of 11,109 students passed the examination which accounts for 9.43 per cent of the total aspirants of 117,763 admission seekers for the available 1,851 seats.

Besides, as many as 212 admission seekers, out of a total of 4,726 students, passed the admission test against a total of 130 seats in the 'Fine Arts unit'.

The results will be available at the university website www.admission.eis.du.ac.bd or the students can get the results using short message service (SMS) of any mobile operator.

For SMS notification of the result, the aspirants will have to type "DU SCI roll number" or "DU FRT roll number" and send it to 16321.

The passed students of both units can have to fill up and submit the "choice form" using the DU website within 3pm on June 18 to July 06, 2023.
