The government has once more extended the closure of all educational institutions until January 30, aiming to curb the transmission of the novel coronavirus infection.
The Ministry of Education on Friday made the disclosure in a media release in this regard.
However, Qawmi madrasas will not be covered by this closure extension.
On March 16, the government announced the closure of all educational institutions to prevent the spread of coronavirus. No classes have been held since March 17 and the closure has been extended several times in the past months.
Although activities at both government and private offices were gradually restored, educational institutions have not been reopened.
The duration of previously announced closure of educational institutions is scheduled to end on January 16.
