The government is mulling reopening primary schools amid coronavirus pandemic, according to a circular issued by Primary and Mass Education Ministry on Tuesday (September 8).

Before reopening school, it is necessary to ensure sufficient measure inline with the guideline of the ministry. We asked the other relevant stakeholders to send the approved guideline to school level.”

It is also asked to distribute the measures taken by the ministry in the form of poster and leaflets to guardians and pupils.

Taking with The Business Post a ministry official said, the ministry has chalked up 50 guidelines to ensure security and health safety for students and school authorities. They should follow the guidelines strictly to carry out teaching at the school.
