The government has issued guidelines for reopening educational institutions scheduled to open from September 12.
The guidelines were prepared for educational institutions to prepare class routines in accordance with health guidelines and social distancing.
An inter-ministerial meeting prepared the guidelines in the presence of Education Minister Dr Dipu Moni on Wednesday.
According to the guidelines:
SSC, HSC exam candidates of 2021 and 2022, and class five students will attend classes every day.
Students of classes 1-4, 6-9 will attend classes once a week.
Laboratory classes can be included in routines if necessary.
Routines must make sure that hygiene rules are properly met during classes, entry and departure of students.
Routines should be prepared in a way that students of different classes enter and leave the institutions at different times.
Assembly will remain suspended in educational institutions for the time being.
Updates should be sent every day to the authorities concerned according to the checklist.
Institutions with primary, secondary and higher secondary levels will coordinate to prepare routines prescribed for each level.
Educational institutions under the National and Dhaka Universities will conduct class activities in coordination with routines for HSC and SSC candidates
The guidelines must be followed in preparing class routines until further notice.
