The government has decided to put each and every child on education allowance in order to make their school attendance more enjoyable.
From now on each elementary level student will get Tk 1,000 at the beginning of the year to buy dress, shoes and bags, Finance Minister AHM Mustafa Kamal said on Thursday during his budget speech for fiscal year 2021-22 in the parliament.
In his address, the minister said: “In an effort to make their learning at school more enjoyable, the premier has issued directive to pay Tk1,000 primarily to every kid as part of children education allowance at the beginning of the year.”
