The Ministry of Primary and Mass Education has decided that all government primary schools will remain open till 15th Ramadan (April 6) across the country.
The class timing of both single and double-shift schools is set from 9am to 3:30pm.
This decision was taken at a coordination meeting held at the ministry’s conference room at the Secretariat, with Secretary Farid Ahmed in the chair.
“Schools will remain open for only nine working days during the month of Ramadan,” said the ministry’s Senior Information Officer Mohammad Mahbubur Rahman.
Ramadan vacation will begin from April 7 and continue till April 26. Classes will resume on April 27.
