The digital lottery for admission to government secondary schools for the 2023 academic year will be held on December 12 instead of December 10.
The Directorate of Secondary and Higher Education (DSHE) issued a circular in this regard on Monday.
The lottery will be held at the International Mother Language Institute in Dhaka at 2pm, it said.
However, the schedule of holding the lottery for admission to private secondary schools in the metropolitan cities and Sadar upazilas will remain the same (December 13).
It will be held at the same venue at 3pm, the circular added.
The online applications for admission opened on November 16 and will be available till December 6.
