The combined admission test for 20 general and technical universities began on Sunday with 'B' unit.
The test was held simultaneously at 26 centres across the country from 12:00pm to 1:00pm.
This year, for the first time, admission seekers are attending a combined test for three units of science, humanities and business studies groups.
A total of 2,32,455 students are competing against 22,013 seats this year.
Of these, 1,31,901 students have applied in ‘A’ unit, 67,117 students in ‘B’ unit, and 33,437 applicants in ‘C’ unit.
According to the organising committee of the admission test, the questions of the admission test will be based on the syllabus of the higher secondary. A total of 100 MCQ tests will be taken.
There is no separate test for group migration.
