The Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and equivalent examinations will only resume when conditions return to normal, Dhaka Education Board Chairman and Bangladesh Inter-Education Board Coordination Subcommittee Chief Professor M Ziaul Haque said on Friday.
Students will be informed of the new schedule through an announcement before the exam, he added.
The HSC examinations, originally scheduled to be held from April 1 to May 13, were postponed due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. The results of the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and equivalent examinations were also suspended due to the coronavirus outbreak.
