All secondary schools, colleges, madrasas and vocational educational institutions under Khulna and Rajshahi divisions will remain closed on Saturday due to the continued heatwave across the country.
Information and Public Relations Officer of the Ministry of Education MA Khayer said on Friday that the decision to close the educational institutions was taken upon the forecast of Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD).
Moreover, the same instruction will be applicable for the educational institutions in Dhaka, Tangail districts under Dhaka division, Chandpur under Chattogram division, Rangpur, Kurigram, Nilphamari and Dinajpur districts under Rangpur division, he said.
