Authorities at Khulna University of Engineering and Technology (KUET) have asked students to vacate halls by 4pm Friday after announcing the university closed till December 13.
The decision was taken at the syndicate and academic committee meeting of the university on Friday morning.
The shutdown came after Professor Md Selim Hossain, a teacher at the university’s Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE) department, was found dead inside the campus on Tuesday last week.
