Monash University Foundation Year Orientation, a programme organized by Universal College Bangladesh, the exclusive partner of Monash College, Australia in Bangladesh, has recently come to an end on a high note.
The programme was held virtually on September 01 and 02, 2021 and was streamed live on Monash Pathways at UCB social media platforms.
The “Monash University Foundation Year (MUFY) Orientation” programme marked the commencement of an inaugural batch under Universal College Bangladesh.
This is the first time in the history of Bangladesh that an international education provider has started its official batch.
Day 01 (September 01) event flow consisted of welcome-speech delivered by esteemed officials from UCB, STS Group, followed by a detailed discussion on studying Monash programmes, and Q/A sessions on getting started at UCB, important policies, key contacts, where to look for information, learning resources, etc.
On Day 02 (September 02), there was an insightful exchange of information regarding essential academic tools for MUFY, creation of a Monash account and UCB account, use of Monash accounts, and navigation of courses on Moodle.
Meanwhile, a highly effective workshop on “Academic Integrity and Academic Misconduct” was held, followed by a Maths Quiz for the enthusiastic participants to wrap up the MUFY Orientation.
